Fish and Seafood usually refers to a selection of fish and other sea animals which can be served as food.

Fishes and Seafood may include sea animals and even seaweed just as long as the seaweed in question can be used as food in a culinary setting.

This term usually differs in meaning on the North American continent from what you hear in other places like the United Kingdom and Europe.

In the United States, the term may also include other similar animals from freshwater source while this is not the case in countries like the United Kingdom.

When Fishes and Seafood are cultivated and harvested, the practice goes under a variety of names and some of these names include: fish farming, aquaculture and even mariculture.
